g-man... Couple of questions. When you pulled the white spacer, did you put the needle cover down in the diaphram tube back on right? The two other holes need to be exposed. Is your vacumn line from the petcock kinked or anything abnormal? Did you route the carb vent tubes back up near the frame where they were? Did you put the diaphram back on with the rubber detent in the notch? How many disks have you installed in the Supertrapp? Lastly, what did you mean when you said 'thorough cleaning'?
Several folks have commented that the pilot jet adjustment didn't do anything. I found that first the throttle cable needed to be loosened so the throttle would close to the idle adjustment screw. Then the pilot adjustment screw had an effect. Good Luck with the Savage.
